Creating furniture is one of my passions. Bypassing the oftentimes lengthy and unwieldy process of constructing buildings and public spaces, creating furniture to me is one of the purest forms of design. Taking the construction in my own hands allows me to transform an abstract idea into a tangible product in just a few months.
My designs are always shaped by the search to fully exploit the potential of a material, like carving round shapes out of solid wood, welding thin steel beams or creating a three-dimensional shell of solid concrete. Each project is a process of trying, searching and learning.
