Renewable Flanders

Flanders is lagging behind its climate goals. The region is on track to phase out its nuclear power plants by 2025, but whether they will be replaced by renewables or fossil fuels, remains unclear. In this densely populated region, many barriers exist that hinder the adoption of renewable technologies. Is it feasible to meet Flanders' future energy needs with renewables within the region?
